Adoption process

Why adopt from us ?

We are the only breeders in Canada raising purebred Winter White hamsters.

By adopting from us, you are guaranteed to receive a high-quality hamster that is handled daily and raised according to strict, species-specific standards. As a result, our hamsters are healthier and more social than those sold in pet stores.

 

Step 1

Learn about hamsters through our BLOG and read our adoption requirements.

Adoption requirements:

  • Provide your hamster with a habitat of at least 450 sq. in., along with accessories and food suited to its needs

  • Cover veterinary care if needed and inform the breeder of any issues

  • Return the hamster to the breeder in case of abandonment

  • Inform the breeder in the event of your pet’s passing

  • Never breed your hamster

Fill out the adoption application form.

Step 3

Contact us to send a photo of your habitat

Habitats and accessories can be purchased on-site.

You will be informed whether or not you have been accepted onto the waiting list ($10 deposit* will be required if accepted).

*The deposit is non-refundable in case of withdrawal. It will be deducted from the adoption fee.

Step 4

Choose your hamster and book an appointment to come adopt!

Adoption fees
Baby hamsters are $70

Retired hamsters are $10 (includes priority on the waiting list for a future adoption)
